For the first phase of judging, each entry will be tested at home by four ‘real life’ testers, drawn from our panel of product testers, who number over 100, most of whom are highly experienced at reviewing cosmetic and/or home care products, and many of whom live entirely or mostly fragrance free lives.
Product testing will take place between March and April 2027.
Once all the testing is completed, the second phase of judging will begin. Products will be judged ‘live’ during round-table judging sessions held at the organisers’ offices in either Bristol or London, in May 2027.
Judges will be drawn from our judging teams on our other awards, and we also aim to include additional judges with expertise in the formulation of the kinds of products the Fragrance Free Awards aim to celebrate. Judges may include expert formulators, brand owners, content creators and cosmetic experts.
We will publish the list of all judges before the results are announced in June 2027.
